Abstract- A method for conducting error propagation analysis is presented which can be carried out using spreadsheets. This is a very useful approach to obtaining quick error analysis when a rigorous error propagation may contain covariances or other sufficiently complicated analytical forms. First a normal random number is shown how to be constructed using the default uniform random variables generated by spreadsheets and software programs. This normal deviate is then used in an example of radioactive decay.
